- Military Funding
I am unwilling to send our troops into harm’s way without the absolute best resources available. Our brave men and women are battling terrorists who threaten our freedom at home and abroad, and deserve every advantage they can get in the field.
- Military Presence
I would support re-evaluating the number of United States’ military bases around the world to determine both their strategic importance and cost to our over-extended military. A sometimes unseen threat to national security is our ability to continue to fund, with the sufficient resources required, our ever expanding presence throughout the world.
- Veterans
Those who have served our nation selflessly should be rewarded for their sacrifice, and I pledge to support our veterans and ensure they have the best medical care available.
- Military Tribunals
America is currently engaged with an enemy that is unknown and operates without regard to the rules of war. I believe that our resources must be committed to destroying that enemy, not providing war criminals with a criminal defense afforded to U.S. citizens.
